Her first full collection of abstract photography is called ‘The Goddess Awakes’ and was launched in 2021 to accompany experimental audio-visual project MInerva Wakes.

Jo is in awe of nature and often finds herself wandering in the wilds where she takes pictures of moody magical moments evoked by these emotive spaces. Jo appreciates bold beauty and epic landscape but is also interested in the abstract and odd, enjoying delving deep, zooming in and out, to explore herself and the world around.
Playing with the abstract, often veering away from capturing the world as it first seems allows space to highlight beauty from the dark - meaning in the obscure.
